Privacy notice
Quantum Offense uses the information you provide to respond to inquiries and, when you separately request and confirm them, send occasional company and research updates. This notice describes how the public Quantum Offense website handles information.
Information you provide
For a partnership inquiry we collect your name, email address, organization, and introduction. For employment interest we collect your name, email address, professional profile link, and introduction. An updates request requires only your email address and explicit consent. Personal email addresses are welcome. Please do not send confidential information, credentials, or proprietary research.
How information is handled
The site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare Workers validate submissions and store accepted entries in a private Cloudflare D1 database. Resend processes outbound inquiry notifications to Quantum Offense and confirmation emails for updates requests. Notification failures can be retried from a private queue without losing an accepted inquiry. A form acceptance confirms storage; it does not establish that an email arrived in an inbox.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for abuse. Cloudflare also processes connection and security information needed to host and protect the site. The application uses a keyed hash of the network address for temporary abuse limits; it does not store the raw IP address. We do not use advertising trackers, session replay, or heatmaps. Optional company recognition is described separately below. Contact form entries are not written to website assets or application logs.
Optional website analytics
With your permission, Umami Cloud helps us understand visits, traffic sources, and use of our contact forms. The tracker loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics does not affect navigation, inquiries, or your separate updates subscription. Use to change your choice. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage; the analytics preference is separate from newsletter consent.
Analytics receives only approved public page paths and fixed page labels, recognized referring sites, reviewed campaign labels, and defined interaction names such as a contact request being accepted. We remove other URL queries, fragments, and unknown paths before transmission. We do not send form entries, phone numbers, contact identifiers, subscription tokens, or personal user identifiers to Umami. Confirmation, unsubscribe, administrative, and local editor pages do not load analytics. Umami also processes network and browser information to provide its service, including the connection IP address and information used for browser/device and approximate-location reports; absence of raw IP addresses from our reports does not mean no provider processes them.
Our Umami Cloud account stores analytics in the United States with six-month retention. Analytics records describe browser activity and can be incomplete. An accepted updates request does not establish that a subscription is confirmed. Private contact and subscription records remain the authoritative record of those actions.
Optional company recognition
Leadfeeder helps us understand which companies visit our public pages. It has its own choice in Privacy preferences: Accept company recognition or Reject company recognition. Accepting Umami analytics does not enable Leadfeeder, and accepting Leadfeeder does not enable Umami. Leadfeeder receives no request until you affirmatively accept company recognition. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, or withdrawal keeps it off. Your choice is stored separately in this browser.
When you accept, Leadfeeder processes your connection IP address and browser information to infer a company, together with a public page path and fixed page label. Company recognition can be incomplete or inaccurate and does not establish who a visitor is. The integration uses no persistent Leadfeeder cookies or browser identifiers; each page has a temporary event identifier. We exclude private, confirmation, unsubscribe, administrative and local editor routes, and URLs with unapproved query parameters or fragments. We send no form values, identity enrichment requests, referring URLs, campaign parameters, or email-link tokens to Leadfeeder. Form capture, personal identification, CRM or advertising synchronization, and automated outreach are disabled in this site integration.
You can withdraw permission through Privacy preferences at any time. Withdrawal cancels pending tracker work and stops new requests; it cannot recall information already transmitted with permission. Leadfeeder’s privacy notice describes its processing. Leadfeeder describes processing and storage in the European Union. Its Lite seven-day reporting window limits report visibility; it does not mean the underlying data is deleted after seven days. Contact us to request deletion of information associated with your visit.
Operational logs
Restricted Cloudflare logs record selected application outcomes, coarse errors, notification failures and recovery, and subscription changes. Records use controlled route labels and internal diagnostic identifiers, without request bodies, form entries, raw IP addresses, or email-link secrets. These logs have three-day retention under our Cloudflare Workers Free plan and are separate from the private contact database. Cloudflare may independently process traffic and security metadata needed to operate its platform.
Updates and your choices
Requesting a conversation does not require subscribing. If you request updates, you must follow a confirmation link sent to your email address before your subscription becomes active. Each updates email will include an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by contacting info@quantumoffense.io or calling (650) 855-4993.
Retention
The retention period for inquiries is 730 days (approximately 24 months). Unconfirmed updates requests expire after 7 days. Confirmed subscription records are kept while the subscription is active. A minimal consent and unsubscribe preference record can be kept for up to 730 days to honor that choice. Private queued notification payloads are erased after the email provider accepts them; failed queued payloads are kept for no more than 30 days so delivery can be retried. Temporary abuse-limit records are removed after approximately 24 hours. Quantum Offense can delete records using restricted administrative tools.
